Animesh Basu is a management and technology professional with over 27 years experience in the areas of industrial & technology marketing, project implementation and business consulting. He holds a Bachelor’s (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and has also completed a full time programme in general management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is currently doing his MBA from the Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow, Scotland.

Animesh’s career spans a variety of positions held in renowned multinational companies and the government sector, including senior positions at CEO level.

With a long association in technology marketing and implementation, Animesh is a Middle East pioneer in the field of commercial B2B web application design and operation. He was part of the founding team for Businessdubai.com and Buildersv2b.com where he led the development and operations. Businessdubai.com was awarded the UAE Webstar award for the best B2B site in 2000.

His contribution to The Sequential Group on supply chain projects & management strategies has taken the group to new heights.

Animesh regularly conducts workshops with corporates as a trainer and presenter of e-procurement systems linked to ERP driving home the economic benefits and advantages of such systems. Animesh is also a seminar speaker and delivered seminars on the implementation issues of new technology at IIT Kanpur and other venues.

He has a keen interest in music, creative media and arts. Animesh is a chartered member of TiE Dubai Chapter a global organization for fostering entrepreneurship.
